Atlanta Perinatal Consultants is enthusiastic in the clinical application of diagnostic ultrasound and is recognized for its contributions to improved patient care. We were the first practice in the Southeastern United States to offer high resolution computed sonography, the advance that enabled detailed fetal imaging to determine the actual condition of your baby and opened the mystery of early development for all of us to see and understand for the first time. We have continually updated this expertise and understanding of fetal anatomy in part because we are also the only practice in the Southeast and one of only a few in the United States to have a board certified Radiologist as a member of your care team. It has been our custom since the inception of the practice to have both a registered ultrasound technologist and one of our qualified physicians independently evaluate your pregnancy, with the ability to provide additional internal complex consultation for any question or concern that might arise during your appointment.

Our ultrasound examinations provide reassurance and detailed information regarding the actual state and condition of your pregnancy; in short a very clear view of your baby. This cornerstone of our practice also allows it to be a site for innovative development in the field; training and education for physicians, technologists and nurses.
